KJ Commercial – Customer Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to all services provided by KJ Commercial. By accepting a quotation, booking work, or using our services, the customer agrees to the following terms.

1. Quotations & Pricing

All quotations are provided based on the information available at the time.

If additional faults or work are discovered during the job, the customer will be informed before further work is carried out.

Prices may change if:

  • Additional parts or materials are required

  • Additional labour is required due to unforeseen issues

  • The vehicle condition requires extra work

2. Deposit Policy

For certain jobs, particularly larger repairs, installations, or where parts must be ordered, a deposit may be required before work begins.

Deposits:

  • Are typically required to secure bookings or purchase parts

  • May be non-refundable once parts have been ordered

  • Will be deducted from the final invoice

If the customer cancels a job after parts have been ordered, the deposit may be used to cover the cost of those parts.

3. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of work, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

KJ Commercial reserves the right to:

  • Charge late payment fees

  • Refuse further work until outstanding balances are paid

Accepted payment methods may include bank transfer, card, or other agreed methods.

4. Call-Out Policy

KJ Commercial operates a mobile service and may charge a call-out fee depending on location and the nature of the job.

Call-out charges may apply when:

  • A technician attends a site and the job is cancelled on arrival

  • The vehicle is not accessible or ready for work

  • The issue cannot be diagnosed due to missing information

  • The customer cancels with short notice

Call-out fees cover travel time, fuel, and technician time.

Where parts are supplied by KJ Commercial, we aim to supply suitable quality parts.

If a customer supplies their own parts:

  • KJ Commercial cannot guarantee the quality or compatibility

  • No warranty will apply to customer-supplied parts

6. Warranty

We provide a workmanship warranty on labour for a reasonable period following the completion of work.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Misuse or accidental damage

  • Issues caused by customer-supplied parts

  • Pre-existing faults unrelated to the work carried out

7. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must ensure:

  • The vehicle is safe and accessible

  • Adequate space is available for work

  • Any known faults or issues are disclosed before work begins

8. Mobile Service Conditions

When work is carried out on-site, customers must provide:

  • Adequate space to perform repairs or installations

If working conditions are unsafe, KJ Commercial reserves the right to stop work immediately.

9. Delays & Scheduling

KJ Commercial will always aim to attend jobs at the scheduled time.

However delays may occur due to:

  • Traffic

  • Weather or site conditions

Customers will be informed where possible.

10. Liability

KJ Commercial will take all reasonable care when working on vehicles.

However we cannot be held responsible for:
